A palm oil cooling coil is a device used for cooling palm oil. Palm oil is a common edible oil that needs to be cooled and treated during the production process. A cooling coil is a common type of heat transfer device used to cool hot liquids or gases to the desired temperature.

A palm oil cooling coil works similarly to a regular cooling coil. It usually consists of tube fins and fins through which palm oil flows. Cooling coils are usually installed in a flow system of cooling water or other cooling medium. As the hot palm oil passes through the coil, an external cooling medium (e.g. air) is outside the coil. Heat is transferred from the palm oil to the cooling medium, thus lowering the temperature of the palm oil.
