Heat Exchanger for Sludge Drying Waste Heat Recovery


Sludge drying process will produce a large number of wet exhaust gas (temperature 40-80 ℃), need to be through the heat exchanger to recover the waste heat and reduce energy consumption.


1. Heat pipe heat exchanger

Principle: Using the phase change heat transfer of the heat pipe (heat-absorbing evaporation and exothermic condensation of the work material inside the pipe), the heat in the tail gas is transferred to the fresh air (as the preheating of the drying hot air).

Application Scenario: Tail gas waste heat recovery system, suitable for hot air circulation drying equipment (such as belt dryer, fluidized bed dryer).

Advantage: high heat transfer efficiency, complete isolation of hot and cold fluids, avoiding water vapor in the exhaust gas to pollute the fresh air.

2. Finned tube heat exchanger

Structure: add fins outside the heat exchanger tube to expand the contact area with the exhaust gas, commonly used in the exhaust gas condensation and exothermic (recovery of latent heat).

Application Scenario: With the condensation and dehumidification system, the water vapor in the exhaust gas is condensed into water, and the heat is recovered for preheating the sludge.
