1.Finned tube radiator structure principle
Where the heat exchanger tube is fitted with fins to increase the heat dissipation area of the cold heat exchanger, can be summarised as "finned tube radiator".
The finned tube radiator can be divided into winding type, string type, welding type and rolling type according to the structure of the fins. Commonly used materials are steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, etc.
2. Finned tube radiator applications
The most widely used finned radiator is the steel and aluminium finned tube (winding type steel and aluminium composite finned tube, rolling type steel and aluminium composite finned tube) which makes use of the pressure resistance of steel tube and the efficient thermal conductivity of aluminium, and is compounded on a special machine tool. Its contact thermal resistance is almost zero at an operating temperature of 210°C.
Finned tube radiators are generally used for heating or cooling air and are characterised by their compact structure and large heat transfer area per unit. It is widely used in various fields such as textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum, chemical, drying and electric power.
3. How should finned tube heat exchangers be installed?
General finned tube heat exchanger installation, can be divided into two major parts, the first is the positioning of heating equipment, slotting, pipe laying, pipe connection and the installation of the set of distributors, pressure testing, etc., followed by the installation of the finned tube heat exchanger, the whole system of pressurization testing and finned tube heat exchanger commissioning and other content, which are missing.
