The high-temperature vertical coil waste heat boiler is a core waste heat recovery device specifically developed for harsh high-temperature and high-pressure conditions (such as POX units for residual oil partial oxidation). It can operate stably under extremely high process gas temperatures (up to 1300°C, some models exceeding 1200°C) and pressures within the tubes, while simultaneously producing high-pressure steam as a byproduct.
Core Process and Technical Features:
Extreme Temperature Resistance: Utilizing high-temperature resistant alloy materials, the tubes can withstand harsh process gas temperatures up to 1300°C, while the shell side can produce high-pressure saturated steam at 10.5 MPa or even higher pressures, achieving efficient cascaded recovery of waste heat.
Erosion Protection Mechanism: Addressing the presence of solid metal particles in the syngas from the gasification unit, the flow velocity and coil structure are specially designed to prevent erosion, reducing wear on the tube walls from high-speed particles.
Flexible Tube Sheet Structure: An innovative design solves the problem of localized thermal stress concentration at the connection between the tube sheet and the tubes under extremely high temperature differences (at the process gas inlet end), extending the equipment's service life.
This type of coil-type waste heat boiler has been widely used in large-scale coal chemical projects such as methanol production from coke oven gas and ethylene glycol production from waste furnace gas.
